What should the written quote include for fly screens?

Ask for a written scope covering opening measurements and frame type; mesh, frame and hardware; plus supply, installation and adjustment, plus the total price, timing, exclusions, payment terms and how variations will be approved.

What affects the cost of fly screens in Queensland?

The main variables are opening count and mesh; plus custom sizing and access. Photos and measurements can help with an initial response, but some jobs need an on-site assessment before a firm quote is possible.

Which Queensland licences or credentials can apply to fly screens?

No service-specific Queensland trade licence generally applies, but the provider still needs to follow work health, environmental and local rules relevant to the site and method.

How do I compare providers for fly screens?

Compare the same written scope, provider credentials, insurance, product or workmanship warranties, start timing, exclusions and total price. Do not compare headline totals until the inclusions match.

What should I prepare before requesting quotes?

Prepare safe-to-take photos, relevant measurements, the property location, preferred timing and notes about opening measurements and frame type; plus mesh, frame and hardware. Never enter an unsafe area just to gather quote information.
